Annual salary will be at Grade 8/9, between £37,382 to £53,233 plus £2,323 London Allowance

The appointment is available from 1 January 2014.

The Institute of Education (IOE) is a world-leading centre for education and social research, and teacher development, located in the heart of London.
We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Mathematics Education to join a large and active mathematics education team within the Department of Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment.

You will play a central role in teaching on a range of programmes such as Initial Teacher Training and MA Mathematics Education.  You will have experience of teaching within schools and ideally within ITE. You will engage in research, developing national and international publications and seeking funding for research, consultancy and knowledge transfer projects.

In view of the nature of the work involved, any offer of appointment will be conditional on a satisfactory Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure (now Disclosure and Barring Service).
