***CALL FOR ABSTRACTS AND PARTICIPATION***

Lost in Space is a one and a half day interdisciplinary workshop for PhD
students working on topics of space. The event will be held on Thursday
2nd December and Friday 3rd December 2010 at University College London
(UCL).

The event aims to unite PhD students from different disciplines to meet
and discuss notions of space, focusing on how you think about space, how
space influences your work and what properties of space you use to shape
your research. The hope is to provide a platform for seemingly disparate
disciplines to discuss, debate and develop their ideas on space.

***SESSIONS***

The event will be formed of three themed sessions over one and a half
days, opened by invited guests who have dedicated their research careers
to spatially related topics:

Introduction by Dr Luciana Parisi (Goldsmiths, University of London)

* Constructing Space *
Introduction by Dr Seth Bullock (University of Southampton)

* Navigating Space *
Introduction by Dr Jan Wiener (Bournemouth University)

talk or in poster format
