The MARS/Shell Centre team in the School of Education at The University of
Nottingham, is looking for people to work on a range of
innovative research-based design and development projects aimed at improving
educational practice in the UK, Europe and the US. These positions provide
opportunities for outstanding individuals with a record of creative work in
mathematics classrooms to join a team with a world-class reputation,
combining creative design with rigorous research, with the potential to have
significant impact on the teaching of mathematics internationally.

Candidates must hold a degree in mathematics, science or cognate subject. In
addition, they should hold a PhD (or equivalent) and/or relevant
professional experience in classrooms. Experience of designing 
innovative tasks,
activities and lessons is essential.

Salary : £27,183 to £35,469 per annum, depending on qualifications and
experience.
These full-time posts will be offered on a fixed-term contract until 31
August 2011** and are open to job share, but only three days or more will be
considered.
