Funded PhD in Mathematics Education

An excellent opportunity for someone with a Masters in Mathematics
Education who is looking for funded PhD study - an ESRC PhD studentship.

Technologies which enhance student engagement with mathematics and
promote teacher continued professional development across key stages 2
and 3

ESRC Collaborative (CASE) Studentship, 2008

A partnership between the School of Education, University of Leeds and
the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics

This work will be concerned with how digital technologies can be used to
enable KS2 and KS3 teachers and their students to work together to
enhance student engagement with mathematics and promote teacher
continued professional development (CPD). 

John Monaghan (j.d.monaghan at education.leeds.ac.uk) and John Threlfall
(j.threlfall at edication.leeds.ac.uk) are willing to answer questions.
