[Maths-Education] The effect of setting(tracking on primary maths attainment

I have picked up an inquiry about research relating the effects of setting versus
mixed-ability classes on primary school maths performance.  

Can anybody suggest any leads? If so can you reply to Tandi Clausen-May at the NFER (t.clausen-may at nfer.ac.uk ) 
and myself (and maybe the list if you might think other would be interested.
