Wanted for September or as soon as possible thereafter, lecturer/senior  
lecturer in Mathematics Education to contribute to the the PGCE  
secondary mathematics and other programmes.

London allowance and recruitment allowance of up to £5000 available
appontment for three years in the first instance - job share considered

You will contribute to teaching on the PGCE Mathematics Education and  
the MA in Mathematics Education as well as to scholarship in the field,  
through publications and other research activity. You will need  
detailed knowledge of the field of mathematics education, together with  
either a good first degree in a cognate area and substantial relevant  
teaching experience or a higher degree, preferably a doctorate, in a  
cognate area.  Evidence of scholarship is also required.  For  
appointment at Senior Lecturer level, a good record of gaining research  
funds and/or leading development projects and an excellent publications
