Chair  of Mathematics Education , King's College London

Applications are invited for the Chair of Mathematics Education in the
Department of Education and Professional Studies (DEPS), School of Social
Science and Public Policy at King's College London.

This  is the oldest and one of the few established chairs in mathematics
education in the UK; there is a tradition among former holders of the chair
of research-led contributions to development in mathematics learning,
teaching and assessment, nationally and internationally.

DEPS is an internationally recognised centre of excellence in teaching and
research (see www.kcl.ac.uk/education) in which the Chair of Mathematics
Education will have a major role in providing academic leadership.

energetic department with a strong research culture should obtain further
