[Maths-Education] Mathematics Education conference in Singapore - May 2002

Dear Colleagues


The National Institute of Education and the Association of Mathematics
Educators, Singapore are joint hosts for the second East Asia Regional
Conference On Mathematics Education (EARCOME) and the ninth Southeast Asian
Conference on Mathematics Education (SEACME) .

The ICMI - EARCOME 2002, SEACME 9 Conference will be comprised of plenary
addresses, regular lectures, and refereed research paper presentations. All
papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings after peer review
procedures have been followed. Although more information about the
conference theme is given in other parts of the conference announcement, we
wish to remind speakers of our conference theme and four areas of focus:
