[Maths-Education] Equivalents problems

Does anyone have an idea about,
how could be an adequate
definition of equivalents problems?

The situation is that a problem could be
formuled (modeled) in differents mathematic's
field (algebra, geometry, etc.). Moreover, in
each fied it is possible to use 
differents mathematical technics.
