Have I missed the thread here?  Is this an answer or a question?

The answer appears to be 24 every time.  
[(6(x+7) + 102)/6 - x  => x+7 + 17 -x  => 24]

I don't know why it says only pick numbers from 1-24: is this meant to be
grounded in reality?
