This is not long, so needs to be slick.</span><o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="color:black;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">This is Glycoweb, so don’t present work from side projects.</span><o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="color:black;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">What you have been doing in context of glycoweb objectives. This needs to be focused as answering questions/hypotheses or creating hypotheses that can later be
tested.</span><o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="color:black;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Results must be quantified (there should not be time to show N=1)*</span><o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="color:black;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Results must be explained not shown…. The audience don’t want to have to interpret a dataset, you need to explain it to them.</span><o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="color:black;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Figures need to be publication-ready, not just the output of a machine… readable scales/ labels etc (a ‘preflight checklist’ is attached for guidance).</span><o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="color:black;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Future work should be brief and focus on what will be delivered. *can use N=1 in this to help context.</span><o:p></o:p></li></ul>
