community consultation</a> ongoing that will feed into the review of the <a href="https://www.ukri.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/BBSRC-01122021-Forward-Look-for-UK-Bioscience.pdf">
Forward Look for UK Bioscience</a>. Please consider contributing, to make sure proteoglycan and glycosaminoglycan research receives the attention it deserves when one of our main funding bodies plans for the future!<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt">I think we all agree that glycosciences at large, and proteoglycan/glycosaminoglycan science in particular, are research areas in which the UK has considerable strengths. The growing number of participants
at the annual UKPG meetings bears testament of a striving and growing community, of which you are part! Yet, recognition for this area in terms of dedicated funding sources is relatively scarce. Here is an opportunity to make our voice heard, and to help shaping
the new Forward Look.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
