In recent work with B. Bento, we have been able to realize top-down string theory compactifications on Riemann-flat manifolds, where supersymmetry is broken at the KK scale and where one can find dS maxima with large radius and small vacuum energy in Planck
units. These solutions are fully explicit and are under extraordinary (but not complete) control. I will review the construction of RFM's, explicit formulate to compute Casimir energies, describe explicit examples, no-go theorems, and potential connections
of solutions like these to cosmology.</div>
