Today Prof Jon Butterworth (UCL particle experimentalist), Prof Catherine Heymans (Edinburgh Astronomer and Astronomer Royal for Scotland) and Dr Simon Watson (Particle Theorist postdoc at IPPP) gave evidence about how the STFC crisis is affecting us all to
the House of Commons Science Innovation and Technology Committee. They were really clear and convincing.</div>

They were then followed by Prof Michele Dougherty, Executive Chair of STFC who was given quite a grilling by the committee about how STFC has reached the stage it has of having to implement the draconian cuts it will have to. </div>
