The Large Hadron Collider at CERN gives us direct access to physics above the key "electroweak symmetry breaking" energy scale, where the weak and electromagnetic forces come together. This scale is associated with the Higgs boson, discovered at CERN in 2012.
As we near the end of the third running period of the collider, and head toward the "high luminosity" era, I will discuss how precise measurements can be made with a high degree of model-independence, and how they can therefore be used to probe both the Standard
Model and physics beyond it. I will present a method of exploiting this and latest results.</div>
