We explain how the presence of end-of-the-world branes leads to the<br>
existence of vacuum decay and vacuum creation processes.<br>
We explicitly describe two different creation mechanisms relying on ETW<br>
branes. Knowing various creation and decay rates is important for making<br>
(anthropic) predictions in a multiverse.<br>
We explain how the existence of ETW branes impact the prediction of the<br>
scale of inflation in the string landscape.</div>
